Glendale Man Killed In Accident

GLENDALE-An unnamed male driver was hit twice and killed by oncoming traffic after he got out of his car following a crash involving said driver. The initial car crash occurred when a 2001 Honda CRV stopped on a westbound lane of the 134 Freeway in Glendale and was rear-ended by a 2005 Toyota Solara. The driver of the Toyota Solara got out of his car and made his way to the center divider when he was struck by a car who was trying to avoid the two disable cars. This sent the man over the center divider wall onto the eastbound side of the freeway where he was struck a second time by a vehicle heading eastbound. The eastbound driver fled the scene and has not been located or identified. The crash remains under investigation and the name of the driver has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
